Caring for Aging Relatives (Part 1)

Regina McCann Hess, CFP®, CDFA® |

In today’s episode, I’m going to talk about how to help your aging relatives get the care they need at home. They could be your parents, aunts and uncles, family friends, or grandparents, but they are likely to need your help navigating that stage where they start requiring extra assistance. This can be a tremendous burden or stress on families, so I’m going to share some tips and insights that will help you begin to prepare and know what to do when the time comes.

Being prepared is key, so listen in as I offer ideas on how you can start planning different ways to handle the needs and issues that come with aging family members. And if a situation comes as a surprise or sooner than you expect, I also talk about ways that you can make these stressful situations go more smoothly for everyone involved.
